Playgroups

Clients love our playgroups! They are safe, fun, and educational.

We do our best to ensure that your dog won’t get overlooked or overwhelmed. Our aim is to meet each individual dog’s needs while promoting confidence, resilience, and positive play skills.

Get quality social experiences at our playgroups. Our groups are not over-crowed free for alls. Guardians learn about dog play and body language, and how to safely manage dogs off lead. We offer best practice dog/human ratios and optimal duration (45 mins). Our goal is for you AND your dog to enjoy your time with us, to build confidence in social settings, and learn about positive play skills and dog behavior. Playgroups are structured with age and size in mind.

For group training they can start as soon as they have received their second vaccination, so around 12 weeks old. 

Our playgroups are run by a certified dog trainer and behavior expert, who has been running group sessions for over 13 years. We use positive methods only!

Both playgroups and group training classes are held at Stanley Park in Smiths Parish on private property. Your dog will have wonderful social experiences off lead in a beautiful, quiet environment, and you will too! Our park provides plenty of space to run! Groups are designed for dogs who enjoy other dogs and who have good social skills. Fearful, aggressive, and reactive dogs, may need to start with private training. Investment Options:

Assessment

All dogs must start with a 10-15 minute assessment for our playgroup. This allows us to ensure it is a good fit, and group everyone with play style, age, and size in mind. Assessments are held at Stanley Park with other dogs and handlers present. 

Assessments are $25.

  • Please fill out the intake form and send us your local Vet documents.
  • If your dog hasn’t attended within 5 months, they must be re-assessed as play skills can get rusty.
